"Tomorrow is the executive council meeting, which will be held at 10.30 am. A lot of issues would be taken up at the meeting. It''s quite an important meeting. Tomorrow my leaders will be meeting the press soon after the executive council is over," said Dayanidhi Maran, senior DMK leader and nephew of party chief M. Karunanidhi.

Congress leader Peter Alphonse also hailed party''s victory, and said that the victory of the DMK and the Congress has taught a befitting lesson to those opportunists who deserted the alliance at a crucial hour.
