Reform measures can help India achieve 9% growth target: GodrejIssues with allies have clearly slowed down decision making by coalition government, but implementation of reform measures can help India achieve the 9 per cent growth target, CII President Adi Godrej said on Wednesday.

Mr. Godrej said reform measures like allowing foreign direct investment (FDI) in sectors like multi-brand retail and aviation plus implementation of the goods & services tax (GST) would help a lot in putting growth back on track.

Godrej, Jet Airways Sign DealThere has been a deal struck between Jet Airways and Godrej. This deal has been struck for the agreement of the development of the property of Jet Airways. The property is located at C-68, C Block, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), in Mumbai.

According to the agreement, there shall be a development program followed by Godrej, when they shall develop as much as one million square feet of the building which is an office. It is expected to be completed in the next three years.

Godrej - Hershey’s Joint Venture Ends

The deal is speculated to be called off because of the management differences of the JV entities. Short Term Buy Call For Godrej IndustriesTechnical analyst Shardul Kulkarni of Angel Broking is bullish on Godrej Industries Ltd and has recommended 'buy' rating on the stock with a short-term target of Rs 245.

According to analyst, the interested investors can buy the stock above Rs 235 with a stop loss of Rs 230.

Today, the stock of the company opened at Rs 230 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 247.70 and a low of Rs 141.20 on BSE.

Current EPS is -0.41.

The company has currently rolled out this new product in markets of West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. But the company expects to garner a market share of more than five per cent by the end of first year. As it has a target to sell more than 25,000 units by March next year.

Godrej Agrovet Eyes 15% Turnover This Fiscal

GodrejGodrej Agrovet is eyeing to achieve 15% growth in its turnover in the existing financial year (20101-11), which stood at Rs 1,600 crore during the last fiscal.

Mr. B S Yadav, company's managing director, said, ''We expect a 15 per cent jump in our topline and 25 per cent in the bottomline. Last year, we had a turnover of over Rs 1,600 crore.''

Mr. Yadav said that diversified agri-business company, which presently sells animal feeds, ready-to-eat foods and processed poultry products, is gazing 'seriously' at diversifying into fresher segments.
