Cisco to bring out 3,000 jobs for IndiaCisco Systems aims to offer 3,000 new jobs for its Indian base in Bangalore, according to a report based on India's Economic Times.

Cisco's Chief Globalisation Officer and Executive Vice-President, Wim Elfrink, said, "We are quite happy about our Indian operations. As Bangalore is the second global head office for Cisco after California, we want to increase our headcount here. We plan to hire 3,000 more in the next two years."  

As of now the California-based firm already employs around 7,000 workers in India.

This move shall also cater to bring out up to ten start-up organisations. Market experts claims that Cisco has joined hands with Lavasa Corporation to offer solutions for internet connectivity and governance solutions in the hill city of Lavasa, near Pune.

The $40 billion company aims to improve the employment scenario of the country with this move.
