China and India stricken by the growing cancer numbers

China and India stricken by the growing cancer numbersExperts have warned that two Asian giants, China and India are facing a deadly threat from the increasing number of cancer patients.

The reasons to this could be increasing consumption of tobacco, delayed diagnosis and insufficient access to social insurance medications. The details of this have been stated in a report published in The Lancet Oncology.

The report also confirms that every fifth death in China is caused by cancer second only to patients passing away due to chronic heart diseases. And in India, on an annual basis a million new cases are diagnosed. These numbers will reach 1.7 million by 2035. The study found that while rate of disease in the Indian populace is easier than Europe or the US, the death rates are higher.

Mohandas Mallath, a teacher at the Tata Medical Center in Kolkata stated that the need for political duty and movement is at the heart of the answer for India's developing growth load. He also added that in the coming  20 years the factors on which deaths caused by cancer will rely on will depend a ton on the ventures made in future decades in tobacco control, medicinal services conveyance, growth research and clinical trials.
