Maruti Suzuki launches Ciaz at Rs 6.99 lakh onwards

Gurgaon - Country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday launched mid-sized sedan Ciaz with an introductory price starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The petrol variants of the sedan are priced between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 9.34 lakh while the diesel variants are priced between Rs 8.04 lakh and Rs 9.8 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).

"Millions of Indians have enjoyed Maruti cars for years. These customers are looking to upgrade to mid-sized sedans. Ciaz is for them, " MSI Managing Director and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa told reporters here.

He added that the company has been able to achieve localisation content of 98 percent for the car.

General Motors launches new SAIL compact, SAIL sedan

General-Motors-SAILNew Delhi - General Motors India today launched the new Chevrolet SAIL hatchback and sedan priced between Rs 4.41 lakh and Rs 7.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The new SAIL hatchback is priced between Rs 4.41 and Rs 6.81 lakh and the SAIL sedan is priced between Rs 5.19 and Rs 7.64 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the company said in a statement.

Both the models are available in diesel and petrol options. The diesel option is powered by a 1.3 litre engine, while the petrol has a 1.2 litre engine.

The three new handsets include, Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498, the Micromax Canvas A1 and the Karbonn Sparkle V, reported CNET. The three phones share similar features like, a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 854x480-pixel resolution, quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, dual-SIM capability, 1GB RAM and 4GB of onboard storage alongside a microSD card slot for expandability along with a 5- megapixel camera on and a removable 1,700mAh battery.

The single hand mode is a new feature and would definitely attract customers.
