Audi announces to roll out three new models of its premium A4 sedan in IndiaSpreading out its Audi A4 series in India, the luxury car manufacturer of German – Audi on Tuesday announced to roll out three new models of its premium A4 sedan in the Indian market. The three newly announced Audi A4 variants – 3.0 TDI Quattro Tiptronic, 2.0 TFSI Multitronic, and 1.8 TFSI Multitronic – are priced in the range of Rs 26.67 lakh to Rs 36.40 lakh.

The three new variants include diesel and petrol engines. The 3.0 TDI Quattro Tiptronic is equipped with diesel engine, while 2.0 TFSI Multitronic and 1.8 TFSI Multitronic have petrol engines. The 1.8 TFSI Multitronic will compete with Skoda Superb, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Nissan Teana in the Indian market.   

Audi India claimed that the three new variants of Audi A4 have greater fuel efficiency; the sedans consume 10% lesser fuel than their predecessors.

Audi will now have total five variants – two diesel models and three petrol models with four or six cylinders – of its A4 sedan – including the two previous ones 3.2 TFSI Quattro Tiptronic (diesel) and 2.0 TDI Multitronic (petrol) – in the Indian market.

The Audi A4 1.8 TFSI Multitronic is priced at Rs. 2,667,000; the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Multitronic is priced at Rs. 2,854,000; and the 3.0 TDI Quattro Tiptronic is priced at Rs. 3,640,000. The two previous variants 2.0 TDI Multitronic and 3.2 TFSI Quattro Tiptronic are priced at Rs. 2,854,000 and Rs. 3,543,000 (ex-Showroom Mumbai) respectively.
