4 Electronic Readers Showcased by Samsung at CES

It seems that this year, Samsung is all set to race ahead of its competitors and turn around to definite profit. At this year's Consumer Electronics Show, the giant company is showcasing as many as 4 electronic readers, which is 2 more than it had announced at a press conference that was called by the firm earlier.

In addition to the 6 and 10 inch E6 and E101, respectively, electronic readers that were announced on Wednesday, both of which can be effectively used to take notes and draw, in addition to reading, Samsung also took the wraps off its smaller 5 inch and 6 inch models with a full QWERTY thumb-pad for easy typing.

All e-readers showcased by the company have touchscreens and the same handwriting capability, made possible with the built-in electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus pens.

The smaller versions, as confirmed by the company, will be launched in March or April, which is months ahead of the speculated release dates for the larger E6 and E101, but their prices are not known yet.

The Samsung E6 and E101, on the other hand, will retail at $399 and $699, respectively.
