Zurich, March 20 : World football governing body FIFA has announced that the draw for the 2014 World Cup finals will be made Dec 6 in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil.

"It was confirmed at the meeting that the draw for the 2014 World Cup finals would take place at Costa do Sauipe, in Bahia State, at 1300 local time (1600GMT) December 6 2013," FIFA said in a statement.

FIFA president Sep Blatter said he was confident that Brazil would be ready in time to host the big event.(IANS)
