Washington, July 28 : A group of 21 media organizations in the United States have asked a judge to reverse his order of sealing court records in the case against James Holmes, who allegedly killed 12 people during the screening of the ‘Dark Knight Rises’.

Holmes has been accused of killing dozens of people and injuring nearly 58 during the screening of the latest Batman movie at a movie hall in Denver.

Judge William Blair Sylvester issued an order July 20, the day of the shooting, to keep the documents secret without stating the reason, Fox News reports.

News organizations, including The Associated Press, The Denver Post, three other newspapers, four Denver television stations, six broadcast networks and two newspaper groups, said the order means even a complete list of court filings is kept secret.

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the district attorney''s office declined to comment. (ANI)
