Washington, Oct 19 : Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, answered some uncomfortable questions about her husband during an interview with an American channel.

Ann, who appeared on ABC News ‘The View’ on Thursday, was earlier going to appear with her husband, after he made less-than-flattering remarks about the show’s hosts.

The interview seemed somewhat tense, but turned especially awkward when co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked Ann to clarify if her husband did not serve in the military for religious reasons.

“Now, I believe that your religion doesn''t allow you to go fight,” Goldberg said.

Washington, Oct. 19 : US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's wife, Ann, has said that her husband will not run again if the presidential race does not turn out the way they hope.

She said that it was `a very hard thing' to put her family through another White House bid after he lost the 2008 Republican primary.

According to Politico, during the interview with ABC's `The View' she, however, agreed that her husband could bring economic prosperity to America, but they `absolutely' will not do it again if he loses.

Their son, Josh, also appeared on the show. (ANI)

On the other hand, Michelle Obama styled a shift dress and cropped jacket from Michael Kors’ 2013 resort collection. The dress retails for 1,795 dollars and the jacket is 1,495 dollars.

Washington, Oct 11 : Both First Lady Michelle Obama and Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, are more popular than their husbands among Americans.

A new Washington Post/ABC News Poll found that the 67 percent of voters hold a favorable impression of the First Lady, compared to 56 percent for her husband President Barack Obama.

Ann Romney, with a 56 percent positive rating, is nine points above her husband, Mitt Romney, who 47 percent of voters see as favorable, Politico reports.

Washington, Oct. 5 : Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, will guest-host ABC's `Good Morning America' on October 10, the network said.

Joining George Stephanopoulos at the anchor desk, Romney will be hosting the show instead of co-anchor Robin Roberts, who is on extended medical leave.

ABC said it is in discussions with First Lady Michelle Obama for a similar guest appearance when her schedule allows, Fox News reports.

New York, September 15: Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's wife Ann has revealed that she once embarrassed herself by walking in on President George W. Bush while he was getting a massage when she was a guest at the White House

The revelation came in the `Live! with Kelly and Michael' show on Friday which Ann attended with her 65-year-old politician husband.

"He was covered up, but I was so embarrassed that the next time I did see him I didn't know what I was going to say to him," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

Washington, Aug 30 : Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney's wife Ann Romney has been given a special offer by the creator of ABC's award-winning tv-series, "Modern Family " to play role of a `gay wedding officiant' on the show.

However, Steve Levitan, co-creator of the tv-show, tweeted that she could only officiate at Mitch and Cam's gay wedding, when it was legal.

"We'll offer her the role of officiate at Mitch & Cam's wedding. As soon as it's legal," the New York Daily News quoted Levitan, as saying.

Washington, July 6 : Ann Romney, the wife of U. S. Presidential candidate Mitt Romeny, has claimed that President Barack Obama's campaign wants to "destroy" her husband.

Ann, during an interview with CBS News, blasted the "kill Romney" strategy that she believes the Democrats are using to hold onto the White House in November.

"Well, I feel like all [Obama is] doing is saying, `Let's kill this guy,'" Politico quoted Ann, as saying.

"Not when I'm next to him you better not," she quipped as her husband sat beside her for the joint interview.

"I completely support 90% of where Mitt is," Ann Romney said in a joint interview with her husband.

"I don''t think we''re ever exactly on the same page 100%," New York Daily News quoted Ann as saying.

Ann Romney said that she and her husband disagreed on some issues, though she did not mention the issues.

New York, May 12 : Ann Romney, the wife of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, praised Michelle Obama and called her "lovely," on Friday.

She insisted that the First Lady does a good job handling the intense pressure that comes with having a husband in the White House.

"I think she's lovely ... Everyone can appreciate it is a very difficult position to be in, where your husband's under enormous scrutiny all the time and attacks from one side or the other," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Fox News.

She further said that she respected Michelle's "composure" and ability to keep calm.
