Washington, Sept 24: A new poll reveals that a majority of Americans describe Barack Obama as being "about the same" or "worse" than his predecessor as president George W. Bush.

A USA Today/Gallup poll found that 56 percent of the respondents said Obama is either "worse" or "about the same" as Bush.

Thirty four percent of the respondents said Obama is "worse", and 22 percent said he is "about the same" as Bush.

According to the poll, 67 percent of Independents said Obama is about the same or worse than Bush, Politico reports.

Forty three percent of the respondents said Obama is a better president than Bush.

About 85 percent of the respondents said Obama is"about the same" or "worse" than Clinton.

Only 12 percent said Obama is "better" than Clinton.

The poll was conducted between September 15 and 18, and surveyed 1,004 American adults. (ANI)
