Michigan Polls: Obama’s Having Sizable Lead Over McCain

Sen. Barack Obama is currently having sizable lead over Sen. John McCain, in the presidential race, in the Wolverine State. Obama’s lead over McCain is noticeable in the recent Obama vs McCain Michigan Polls.
According to the two recent Michigan polls, conducted by Public Policy Polling and Rasmussen Reports, Obama is presently in better state to win Michigan’s seventeen electoral college votes in November.
Conducted from September 29 to October 1, Public Policy Polling’s Obama vs McCain MI poll showed Obama leading McCain by 10 % points — 51 % to 41 % among the likely voters of Michigan.
Conducted on October 8, Rasmussen Reports’ McCain vs Obama MI poll showed Obama having 16 % points’ lead over McCain. The poll showed Obama leading McCain 56 % to 40 % among the likely voters of Michigan.
According to Rasmussen Reports, Obama is currently given an 88.2 % chance of winning the state this year.
