Punj Lloyd terminates JV with Swissport International

Punj Lloyd terminates JV with Swissport InternationalPunj Lloyd, a leading engineering procurement and construction (EPC) and project management services company, has decided not to pursue the ground handling opportunities in the Indian aviation sector with Swissport International, and has agreed to terminate the Joint Venture.

The company had entered into a JV with Swissport International in June 2006 to develop projects in the Indian cargo and ground handling sector. 

BMC declined MMRDA request

Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) and the BMC declined MMRDA requestBrihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) are again in lime light over ambitious road widening project under the Mumbai Urban Infrastructure Project (MUIP). The MMRDA has written a letter to BMC requesting it to take charge of 12 roads out of 18 roads. 

These roads are main Link Road, SV Road, Sion-Dharavi Link Road, Saki Vihar Road, Mahakali Caves Road, Marol-Maroshi Road, Sahar Airport Road, Dhaku Road (near Seepz), Goregaon-Mulund Link Road, extension of Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, N S Phadke Marg and Andheri-Kurla Road.
