Tantia Constructions Limited has informed that it has secured an order worth Rs 58.15 crore from South Eastern Railway.

The scope of project involves construction of Bridge over River Damodar in Bowichandi - Khana section of BDR Gauge Conversion Project.

In a separate announcement, Tantia Constructions has notified that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 30, 2009, inter alia, to approve the audited financial results and to consider recommendation of dividend for the year ending March 31, 2009.

On the behalf of positive announcement, the scrip of the company surged 5% to trade at Rs 54 on BSE. The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 98 and Rs 28 respectively.
