Symphony Teleca to acquire Bangalore-based Aditi Tech

Symphony Teleca to acquire Bangalore-based Aditi TechAmerican technology firm Symphony Teleca Corporation (STC) has confirmed that it will acquire Bangalore-based Aditi Technologies, which will keep on operating as a new unit of STC with no changes in leadership.

STC will use Aditi Tech's design and cloud expertise as a strategic growth lever to complement its engineering, mobile as well as analytics abilities. The American firm said the acquisition was aimed at developing its capabilities to deliver Systems of Engagement (SOE).

According to a report by market research Zinnov, the SOE market will grow from $33 billion in 2013 to $111 billion by 2020.

Pradeep Rathinam, CEO of Aditi Tech, said, "The acquisition creates a unique force that will help today's businesses drive their growth agendas and improve business agility by harnessing the power of analytics, modern applications and smart devices."

However, none of the two sides disclosed the value of the deal.

U. S.-based STC has a workforce of more than 6,000 people in nearly thirty-two offices worldwide, including delivery centers in America, Europe and Asia. The list of its customers mostly includes mobile communication services providers. Following the completion of the deal, the company's workforce wills well to around 7,500 employees across forty offices worldwide.

The deal, however, requires certain procedural regulatory approvals to formally complete the transaction.
