Lahore, Apr 28 : Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf's hopes of making a comeback to international cricket were dashed when the country's chief selector Iqbal Qasim indicated the team was now looking to the future.
Qasim adviced Yousuf to play domestic cricket to prove his fitness and added the selection committee would consider his return based on his performance and the requirements of the team.
He also rejected claims of his differences with newly-appointed head coach of Pakistan. Dav Whatmore, The Dawn reports.
Qasim said the squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka is likely to be announced on May 12. (ANI)
