Islamabad, Jan. 14 : Former Pakistan cricket captain Younis Khan has no issues playing under Mohammad Yousuf, a senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official has said.
“He (Younis) has informed the selectors that he will be happy playing under Yousuf,” the official said.
Despite Younis’ poor show at the domestic level in the recent past, he is likely to be included in the forthcoming ODI squad for the series starting in Brisbane from January 22.
Chief selector Iqbal Qasim is believed to have sounded Yousuf about Younis’ inclusion in the squad for the limited over series.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to announce the squad today (Thursday).
Players like Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Sohail Tanveer, Yasir Arafat, Khalid Latif, Fawad Alam and Imran Nazir are likely to be included in the team, The Nation reports. (ANI)
