London, Mar. 2 : The most expensive season ticket in British football will go on sale for 15,000 pounds.
This expensive ticket is for Peterborough United, the football club based in Perterborough.
Fans are being asked to pay almost ten times the cost of a Real Madrid (professional football club based in Spain) ticket price for watching every home game, eating as many pies as they eant and to be the guest of a club director for an away match.
Fans however, need not worry about ticket prices as the special price is applied to only eight seats, which are under the director’s box.
A Peterbrough United spokesman said: ''We had some seats left in the director''s box so we decided to launch this ticket.”
The Daily Mail further quoted him, as saying: ''It is a lot of money and we have no idea what the response will be like, but it''s something different so we hope people will go for it.”
He further said these ticket holders would be called ''honorary directors''.
A Peterborough United fan believes that ticket would be worth every penny. He said: ''If I could afford it I''d definitely pay that much to watch them, it would be worth every penny.”
The other ticket prices are: 1,825 pounds for Arsenal, 1,695 ponnds for Chelsea and 1,210 pounds for Tottenham Hotspur.
The sale of tickets will start from March 7. (ANI)
