‘We need a little more animosity between top tennis players,’ says Murray

‘We need a little more animosity between top tennis players,’ says Murray London, June 29: World No. 4 Andy Murray has backed American legend John McEnroe over his comment that the world’s tennis elite is too pally with each other on and off the court.

“I know John McEnroe thinks we need a little more animosity between the top players and it’s probably true,” The Sun quoted Murray, as saying.

“I think everyone would enjoy it a little more if the players were a bit more vocal about any dislike we might have for each other,” he added.

Murray will face Spaniard Feliciano Lopez today aiming for his second Wimbledon semi-final spot. (ANI)
