London, Jan 24 : Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie has claimed that there is no problem between him and manager Arsene Wenger. Van Persie was left shocked after Wenger substituted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the 73rd minute of the game against champion Manchester United at the Emirates, which they lost 2-1.
"I was not having a go at the boss on Sunday, I was just sad to see Alex leave the pitch as he just gave the assist for our only goal," The Sun quoted Van Persie, as saying. He also said that it wasn't his job to judge his manager's decision and Wenger is the person in charge to make decisions, which he trusted. "I was not questioning his judgment. I know it''s not my place to challenge what Arsene Wenger does.
He is the boss, he makes the decisions and that''s it, end of story." "I have worked with the boss long enough to know there''s always a good reason behind his decisions and there was again on Sunday," he added. (ANI)
