London, Nov 7 : Rugby player Ben Foden and his long-term girlfriend Una Healy have revealed that they are expecting a baby girl.
The couple found out about the sex of their unborn baby at Healy’s 20-week scan last week.
The Saturdays singer said that the news is rather fitting because she has always been surrounded by so many girls.
“I come from a family of girls, I went to an all-girls school and I’m in a girl band, so I guess it’s fitting that I’m having a daughter,” the Daily Mail quoted Healy as telling Hello! Magazine.
Having recently returned from England’s doomed World Cup tour in New Zealand, the news has certainly proved a welcome distraction for Foden.
The couple, who have been dating for over three years, admitted that the pregnancy came as a pleasant surprise for them.
“We weren’t trying for a baby,” Foden said.
“But we’d talked about starting a family and we’re in a loving and committed relationship, so it wasn’t a massive shock.”
“I was over the moon. I plan on spending the rest of my life with Una,” he added. (ANI)
