Kiev, June 19 - UEFA President Michel Platini has expressed his satisfaction with the arrangements for the Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
"I am very pleased with organising. Poland and Ukraine have already won the tournament. The atmosphere in the stadiums has been 99 percent fantastic," Platini was quoted Tuesday by the Euro 2012 information centre as saying.
There were some problems during the turbulent four-year build-up to the tournament, Platini said, adding that the two nations could be proud of what they had delivered, reports Xinhua.
Platini stressed that it was difficult to prepare for the championship better than Ukraine and Poland.
Co-hosts Poland has already gone out of the tournament after losing 0-1 to the Czech Republic Saturday.
Ukrainian national team still has a chance to progress. It has to win the match against England late Tuesday to get the quarter-finals ticket. (IANS)
