Pistorius branded 'pathetic figure' by Reeva's mother in new book

Reeva's mother June Steenkamp opened up about her daughter's relationship with Pistorius, saying that she was unmoved by a public apology from the man who was trying to save his own skin.

Gatlin, who has served two drug bans, is the world's fastest man in 2014. Tygart said that if somebody commits a violation, serves a ban and comes back to the sport, part of the rule is this idea of redemption.

Kenyan runner Kimetto sets new 'under two hours, three minutes' marathon world record

dennis kimettoLondon, Sep 29 - Kenyan long distance runner Dennis Kimetto set up a new marathon world record in Berlin after winning the race in a time of two hours, two minutes and 57 seconds.

Kimetto shook off fellow Kenyan Emmanuel Mutai with just under three miles remaining to become the first man to run a marathon in less than two hours and three minutes. Mutai, who finished second in two hours, three minutes and 13 seconds, also broke the previous record.
