London, Apr 20 : Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has slammed Chelsea striker Didier Drogba on his Twitter account for continuously diving against Barcelona during their Champions League 1-0 semi final win at Stamford Bridge in the first leg.
Although Rooney praised Drogba for his match wining effort but his amateur dramatics the match also merited a mention.
"Drogba. Your a good player but pls get up," The Sun quoted Rooney's Tweet, as saying.
Rooney''s Tweet was echoed by Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, who wrote: "Has drogba got the right footwear on... Seems to be slipping a lot."
Ajax defender Gregory van der Wiel also shared the same emotions, and he jokingly said: "Hahaha Drogba is so funny, all the time on the ground!"
Former Derby player Robbie Savage believes the striker's goal on the stroke of half time proved he is better when he remains upright.
"Drogba lol lol see what happens when you stay on your feet!" Savage said. (ANI)
