Madrid, May 5 : World No.1 Novak Djokovic assured his place in the third round of the Madrid Open tennis tournament with a comfortable 6-2, 6-4 win over Croatian Borna Coric.

Djorkovic will play Spanish number 15 seed, Roberto Bautista Agut, who needed three sets to dispose of big serving Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 in a game lasting two hours and 27 minutes here on Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
