Nepal removes ban on mountaineering expeditions to Mount Everest

Kathmandu, May 9: Nepal government has removed the ban on mountaineering expeditions after successful relay of the Olympic torch at Mount Everest.
After Chinese Government’s request the Nepalese Cabinet had banned climbing Everest beyond Camp II on April 2 to ensure safe passage for the torch.
