Rebecca Adlington wants Chanel bag as post-Olympic treat

Rebecca Adlington wants Chanel bag as post-Olympic treatLondon, Mar 7 : British swimmer Rebecca Adlington treated herself to a pair of Louboutins when she won two gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, this time though she wants something else.

The 2008 medals were the first British golds in the Olympic pool for 20 years, and she was the first British woman to win an Olympic swimming gold since 1960.

To mark her victory, Adlington had brought herself the pair of Louboutins - adding them to the pair of Louboutins her mother gifted her, and a pair of gold Jimmy Choos the Mayor of Mansfield presented to her on a velvet cushion.

This year she has set her sights on a Chanel handbag.

“I’ve always wanted a Chanel handbag, so that’s next on my shopping list,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Grazia magazine.

Although the Olympic gold medallist is one of Team GB’s biggest hopes she refuses to allow the pressure to get to her.

“I’m really excited,” she said. (ANI)
