Ranji Trophy: Mukund's double ton takes Tamil Nadu to 693/8

New Delhi, Dec 14 - Abhinav Mukund smashed a double century (220) as Tamil Nadu piled up 693/8 against Gujarat on the third day of their Ranji Trophy Elite League match in Ahmedabad Wednesday.
The other major contributors for Tamil Nadu were Subramaniam Badrinath (102), Dinesh Karthik (135) and K. Vasudevadas (105).
At Kolkata, Delhi were bowled out for 392 with Rajat Bhatia scoring an unbeaten 163 and Shikhar Dhawan 76. The visitors, however, fought back and left Bengal reeling at 84/4. Left-arm seamer Pradeep Sangwan took two wickets.
Bengal, who are fighting relegation, will look upto Manoj Tiwary (24 not out) to deliver.
Vineet Saxena (127) and Puneet Yadav (108) struck centuries for defending champions Rajasthan who were all out for 396. Promising Jaydev Unadkat (5-71) and Siddharth Trivedi shone with the ball.
Rajasthan then reduced Saurashtra to 215/7 with pacer Pankaj Singh taking four wickets.
