Chennai, Aug 4 - Third seed Saket Myneni routed 20-year-old Frenchman Antoine Escoffier 6-3, 6-2 in the singles finals of the ITF Futures men's tennis tournament here Saturday.
In a one-sided match, the 24-year-old Myneni came up with crucial service breaks in both the sets to outplay the Frenchman whose frustration knew no bounds and was even penalised for ball abuse.
In the doubles final, Myneni and Arun Prakash Rajagopalan defeated the Thai pair of Weerapat Doakmaiklee and Perakiat Siriluethaiwattana of Thailand and won 6-3, 6-4.
Myneni received $1,300 for his singles win besides 18 ATP points. (IANS)
