London, Jul 3 : England batsman Eoin Morgan has asked his team-mates to learn quickly from their mistakes if they want to beat Sri Lanka.
England lost by 69-runs at Headingley on Friday and face the Lankans at Lord’s on Sunday.
“We have been here before and we need to learn from it. The effect of Friday’s defeat was a step back towards where we were. We need to do something about it quickly, otherwise we could run into problems,” said Morgan.
“We have shown when we have positive attitudes we normally win,” The BBC quoted Morgan, as saying.
The five-match series is tied at 1-1 and Morgan, who made 52 runs off 40 balls in the last game, believes England must be able to deal better with Sri Lanka’s spinners. (ANI)
