Man City hopes meeting with Jackie Chan would inspire players for more success

Man City hopes meeting with Jackie Chan would inspire players for more success

London, July 26 : Manchester City players met legendary actor and martial-arts expert Jackie Chan after they arrived in Beijing for the second leg of their pre-season tour on Wednesday, and the club hopes the meeting could inspire the players to achieve more success.
Chan was in attendance as City announced a new tie-up with Richard Mille Watches as the clock ticks down to the new season.
Defender Gael Clichy reckons City will enjoy the challenge of other clubs trying to cut them down to size next season.
"I think it's good to have the pressure. It's always good to be at the top but we have to forget about what we did last year," The Sun quoted Clichy, as saying.
"That's because it's going to be a new season with new players and new teams and we will have to fight until the end like we did last season. But we can do it!" he added.
"The Champions League will come later on and that will be a big objective for us because last year was a tough group but we felt that we could have done a bit better. The main objective is the Premier League because that's what the fans want, but of course the Champions League would be a massive one," he said.
Clichy further said: "We just want to win as many trophies as we can. Hopefully we can push on from where we left off last season." (ANI)
