London, Oct 17 : Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger are said to be on the verge of a love split due to their hectic and “unworkable schedules”.
Although the 26-year-od Formula 1 ace landed a respectable second place at the Korean Grand Prix, he was spotted in a less-than-sunny mood during the weekend’s media conferences, whereas the 33-year-old former Pussycat Dolls member was conspicuous by her absence during the race.
“Nicole and Lewis are both extremely busy people who lead incredibly hectic lives,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
“Of late, their schedules have proven pretty unworkable and they have not been able to see as much of one another as they would have liked.
“They still speak on the phone but this isn’t the same as face to face contact and things have been rough for the past six weeks. Both want it to work but it’s fair to say things are rocky. But they have rowed before and worked things out.
“As far as both are concerned, there is still hope,” the source added.
Ironically, the news of the couple’s estrangement comes two months after Scherzinger’s father, Alfonso Valiente, suggested that the McLaren driver, whom he referred to as his “future son-in-law”, had proposed. (ANI)
