Islamabad, Jan 1: Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal has said he has presented full details regarding his movable and immovable properties, and activities other than cricket to the Pakistan Cricket Board.
"Whatever the PCB Integrity Committee has asked for, I have provided them. I have cooperated fully with the Committee and I have presented all of the documents that they had requested," PakPassion. net quoted Akmal, as saying.
Akmal is one of the three players currently facing PCB inquiries over their possible roles in the spot-fixing scandal.
Along with Shoaib Malik and Danish Kaneria, the 28-year-old has not played for Pakistan since their controversial tour of England in August, and they were also left out of Pakistan''s United Arab Emirates tour to play South Africa.
Akmal and Malik were also recently denied permission to play league cricket in Bangladesh, despite Test batsman Mohammad Yousuf being allowed to do so.
Akmal, who has represented Pakistan on 214 occasions, had a meeting with the PCB's Integrity Committee on Thursday. He said that he felt the meeting was a cordial one, and expressed hope that he would now be able to continue his international career.
"The meeting was very cordial. Of course I can''t go into full details of exactly what was discussed, but I hope now that this matter is behind me and that I can now be given approval to recommence my international career. I''ve always tried to give my best for my country and will continue to do so in future," he said. (ANI)
