I-League: Chirag get past HAL 1-0

i-league-logoKolkata, Dec 23 :  Chirag United climbed up to the sixth slot with a 1-0 win over Bangalore's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in the I-League here Thursday.

Chirag, who muffed up several chances despite dominating the proceedings at the Salt Lake Stadium, got their winner late in the first session through Jerry Zirsanga.

Elijah Junior sent a measured pass to Zirsanga, who made no mistake in finding the target.

After five games, Chirag now have eight points, one more than HAL.(IANS)
