Hungry Murray can rock Djokovic: McEnroe

Hungry Murray can rock Djokovic: McEnroeNew York, Aug. 29 : Former Tennis star John Mcenroe reckons a hungry Andy Murray can feed off the energy of the crazy New York crowd at the US Open and effectively challenge Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic.

McEnroe is predicting another semi-final showdown between the Big Four in the men''s game. But he claimed the Scot''s lack of a Grand Slam title could drive him to victory in his favourite Major which starts on Monday.

"New York suits him, where he can distance himself from the pressure," said McEnroe.

"The hunger levels should be so high right now that that should push him through," he added.

Murray, 24, has reached the last four in all the Slams so far this season but suffered shocking early defeats in the last two years in New York to Marin Cilic and Stanislas Wawrinka. (ANI)
