Hamilton blasts critics for accusing him of losing focus due to partying lifestyle

London, July 28 : McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has hit back at critics, who have constantly accused him of losing focus on his Formula One career due to his partying lifestyle, saying that he hasn't partied for five months and is completely focused.
The 27-year-old has faced growing criticism after being pictured twice in London partying into the early hours of the morning following McLaren's ruinous outing at the British Grand Prix.
"I think I should clarify one thing - I have been out once in the UK in the space of like a week in the last eight months. The last time you saw me out was when I was in London in November," The Daily Mirror quoted Hamilton, as saying.
"I didn't even go out on New Year's Eve. I didn't go out until June. This whole `not focused' stuff . . I've never been so focused in my life. I've never trained so hard in my life. I have never dedicated so much time of my life to preparing for a Grand Prix," he added.
"While along the way you do make mistakes, I wanted to make sure this year that there was no stone unturned. That I didn't get to the end of the year and say, `Well I wish I didn't do that because then I would have won'," he said.
