Hamburg - Jelena Jankovic stretched her lead atop the WTA tennis rankings issued on Monday by winning another title on the weekend.
The Serb Jankovic moved closer to the prestigious year-ending number one ranking with the Moscow title on Sunday, her third success in as many weeks following trophies in Beijing and Stuttgart.
She returned to the top last week and with now 4,555 points holds a big lead over Russian Dinara Safina (3,782) and formerly top-ranked American Serena Williams (3,717).
