Chelsea can win Premier, Champions League this season: Cole

Chelsea can win Premier, Champions League this season: ColeLondon, July 4 : Chelsea can win a Premier League and Champions League double this season, according to Ashley Cole.

The Chelsea stars will meet new boss Andre Villas-Boas when they start training this week and Cole has vowed to make up for last season’s disappointments.

Chelsea was runners-up to Manchester United and was also knocked out of the Champions League by the Alex Ferguson’s team.

Cole is adamant that Chelsea will rise again under Villas-Boas, The Sun reports.

He said: “I don’t think we’re becoming detached from United and Barca are beatable. I went to the Champions League final and thought United could win.”

“The way Barca played was unbelievable, like a machine, and you can see why people think they’re unbeatable. But we should have beaten them in the semis two years ago when we had three penalties turned down,” Cole added. (ANI)
