New Delhi, July 23 - Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna gained a place in the ATP World Tour doubles rankings to go up to 13th with 4,540 points.
The Bangalore boy last played in the recently concluded Hamburg Open where he, partnering Mahesh Bhupathi, lost in the quarter-finals to Jeremy Chardy and Gilles Simon.
Bhupathi on the other hand dropped a place to 16th with 4,330 points. Bhupathi-Bopanna are ranked seventh as a team on 2,165 points.
Reigning Australian Open men's doubles winner Leander Paes remained on fifth with 6,335 points.
In the WTA rankings, Sania Mirza gained a place in the singles rankings to reach 247 while her doubles ranking remains the same at 18. (IANS)
