London, Apr 21 : Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has written off Arsenal’s Premier League title bid after Arsene Wenger’s side drew their game at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp reckons that the Gunners have no chance of clawing back a six-point gap on points’ table leaders Manchester United with just five games to go.
“I can’t see Arsenal doing it. Chelsea have gone second in the table after their win and that six-point gap between Arsenal and United is going to be very difficult to overhaul,” the Sun quoted Redknapp, as saying.
“Big leads have been turned around before, it wouldn’t be the first time it has happened, and I don’t want to be disrespectful - but I can’t see them doing it,” he added.
The Gunners were hotly tipped to end their six-year silverware drought this season.
However, after losing the Carling Cup final to Birmingham in February, Wenger’s men have seen their campaign collapse with exits from both the FA Cup and Champions League. (ANI)
