London, Feb 7: Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has refused to accept that the defending champions are out of the Premier League title race despite the club suffering a seventh defeat of a miserable season.
Chelsea, who lost Sunday’s game against Liverpool 1-0, is currently 10 points behind points’ table leaders Manchester United.
“We are disappointed because we had an opportunity to close the gap, but now we are the same distance away,” the Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying.
“Maybe now we have less possibility to close the gap, but we have to try again and try to fight for the title. The Premier League is very difficult in every game so it could happen that United can lose again,” he added. (ANI)
