Maranello (Italy), Jan 28 : Former Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso and team-mate Felipe Massa Friday unveiled the Ferrari for the 2011 season.
The car for the Spaniard Alonso and Brazil's Massa is named F150 as Ferrari chose to pay tribute to the 150th anniversary of Italian unification this year, with the nation's flag placed on the rear wing of the new model.
"We developed the F150 with one single aim, we only have to reach it," said team boss Stefano Domenicali in reference to the title ambitions.
The 2005 and 2006 champion Alonso missed a third title last season because of tactical mistakes by the team in the final race which allowed German Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel to steal the trophy.
Ferrari were the first team to unveil their model for the 20-race season which starts on March 13 in Bahrain. Red Bull plan to present their model on Tuesday and the other top team McLaren next week Friday.(DPA)
