Somdev climbs up 2 spots in ATP rankings

Somdev DevvarmanIndia's Somdev Devvarman has moved up to his best ever ATP rank in his career. The popular Indian player has improved his world ranking by 2 spots and has reached to 109th position. As per the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) ranking chart he has managed to find a place in the list. He is having 475 ranking points currently.

Devvarman has failed to make it to the ATP BMW Open as he has lost his third and final round of the qualifying event. He was beaten by Alexandre Sidorenko in Munich by straight sets of 1-6 and 2-6. In doubles Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have remained unchanged in their spot. They are at 6 and 7 position respectively.

Prakash Amritraj and Yuki Bhambri have lost their previous spot and now have declined to 255 and 357 spot respectively. In Women Singles, Sania Mirza remained at her 92nd spot in the chat. In Man's Singles, Roger Federer of Switzerland has topped the table with 10340 points while Serena Williams of US leads the Woman's Singles list with 7946 points.
