Seven New Dinosaurs of Jurassic World Film Unveiled
Screen Ran has recently shared seven new dinosaurs that audiences will be able to see in the Jurassic World film. Makers of the movie said that although these dinosaurs might appear to be harmless, but actually they are no pushovers.
The Jurassic World that will most probably hit the screens on June 12, 2015 is the story of a Jurassic Theme Park whose genetically modified dinosaur publicity stunt goes horribly wrong, as the creature escapes.
The seven new dinosaurs of the Jurassic World film include the Metriacanthosaurus, the Edmontosaurus, the Dimorphodon, the Baryonyx, the Pteranodon, the Suchomimus, and the Microceratus.
As explained by the makers of the movie, the first dinosaur i.e. the Metriacanthosaurus, whose name means moderately-spined lizard, is a fleet-footed carnosaur. These creatures once stalked the ancient Jurassic plains, feeding on other dinosaurs.
Second is the Edmontosaurus which is a flat-headed duck-billed dinosaur. It was among one of the nicer dinosaurs eaten up by the ferocious T-Rex. This dinosaur loves roaming in herds munching on other vegetations.
The Dimorphodon is third on the list and is among the Jurassic park’s flying reptiles. Its name means ‘two-form tooth’ and it loves to soar through the skies. This dinosaur has large eyes, a quick jaw and a sharp talon that helps it to catch fish and other prey.
Fourth is Baryonyx which is one of the largest fish-eating dinosaurs has a crocodile like head and dangerous claws. Its horrifying features make it a master hunter of river and lakes.
The fifth on the list is the Pteranodon is Jurassic World's biggest flying reptile, whose name means a toothless wing and it loves to eat. The dinosaur has a wider wingspan.
The Suchomimus is the sixth dinosaur in line and is famous for its distinctive sail on its lower back and the huge foot-long claws on each thumb that it uses to catch fish.
The last, one is the Microceratus which is also called as the smallest dinosaur in the Jurassic World. It has a short frill and a beak-shaped mouth.
