Reliance to rethink on setting up trade in UP again
Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Group is planning to expand operations in lieu of Reliance Retail in Uttar Pradesh and Eastern India once again, where it originally stumble upon crude weather because of political campaigning.
The special arrangements in the markets such as Lucknow, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Noida are planned as Reliance Retail wants to start its company in these markets first. After the clearance of the state government strategies, grocery retailing will be leveled as it was planned.
Reliance Retail president and chief executive (lifestyle), Bijou Kurien has supposed that they have received lowest dispersions from the two markets i. e., East India and Uttar Pradesh.
He has alleged that there has been great development and they are seeking to expand their Company in these two markets.
Kurien has alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government has prohibited on grocery retailing to develop value retailing business. After its withdrawal the company can have its expansions. The first step of development will be taken on apparel, jewellery and other specialty formats.
Earlier in 2007 there had been a planning of closing Reliance Retail operations by the Uttar Pradesh government.
