Notion Ink launches new Adam II tabletNotion Ink has announced the launch of a second generation Adam II tablet device in the Indian market after a very limited presence with the original version, in order to attract more customers in the crowded Indian market.

Notion Ink announced the launch of the tablet at the National Technology Awards. The tablet comes with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The Adam II will run on Android 4.2.2 and will be powered by a 1.5 Ghz Dual Core ARM Cortex chip and a 1 GB RAM and the company said that its internal memory will be expandable upto 32 GB through a microSD card slot.

Notion Ink claimed that the 6000 mAh battery of the tablet will deliver 10 hours of `non-stop entertainment'. The tablet features a 2 magapixel HD camera along the front and rear and this indicates that the company might have forgone the unique swivel camera design that featured on the original version of the tablet. As for connectivity options, it features a SIM card slot, a micro USB port and a HDMI port.

The company has not announced the launch data or the price of the tablet in the Indian market.
