The 4th May episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein has a lot to offer to viewers. In the beginning of the episode Ishaan is urging Savi to narrate her situation from yesterday at the police station. With a downcast face, Savi turns to Ishaan and tells him about her broken heart and that she has been given a 5 years ban from appearing for any competitive exams, thus crushing her dreams to pieces. Ishaan as per his natural optimism pulls up Savi and says that she could try the exam after a 6-month break. Meanwhile, Savi, severely annoyed, thinks Ishaan to be only faking his sympathy and quarrels with him, making an emotional outburst. Ishan may try to shield Savi from the hard fact, but by herself she is of a different mind, for she is able to show her strength and independence.

In the same instance, Savi was on a mission to locate Jacob in the boys hostel, but he and his cronies could not be traced since they had hidden and received same sizable amount of money from Nishikanth’s minions. Now Yashwant and Nishikanth are hatching plans, the friends of Savi gather around her, giving comfort and companionship while still she faces the consequences of the deserting of Jacob.

Not giving up, Savi responds by having a letter written by her regarding the case, addressed to the vice-principal of Pune University. This seeks an investigation into her case. The enterprising nature of her character is also vivid as she seizes an opportunity at hand to earn some money by putting the hand-printing skills to good use that improves her in her handling of adversity.

While at home, the not so thinly masked satisfaction Yashwant has on being Savi's departure is met with gravity of the issue by Chinmay. To put it simply, the dispute that has crept into family life is intensified by Savi's predicament. While he is doing the exercise, Ishaan often remembers his girlfriend Savi and is intrigued by Reeva's advice, telling him to be more disciplined.

In a bid to distract himself, Ishaan invites Reeva to join him for daily jogs, but his slip of the tongue reveals his lingering attachment to Savi, prompting a sheepish apology. Through these ups and downs, the characters navigate a complex web of emotions, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
