Respected Medical Journal sheds light on dark world of medicine

An article published by a respected medical journal has shed light on the dark world of medicine, showing inappropriate behavior of doctors.

The article was published on August 17 by the editors of the Annals of Internal Medicine journal to reveal that a surgeon said while cleaning the anesthetized woman's genital area and inner thighs that she must be enjoying it. The surgeon said this to a medical student, named David in the article, with a wink and a laugh.

David said he was not at all happy when he witnessed the incident because he believed that he was there to learn, but the behavior of the surgeon proved that he was a “dirtball”.

The published article is basically an essay in which an anonymous author has described what happened during a day when a class of medical students was being taught.

After learning what David witnessed, the author asked him if he laughed as well at surgeon's joke. David said to him that he pretended to laugh at that time, and the author also told David that when he also faced a similar situation when he was a medical student himself.

The author explained the incident he himself witnessed that an obstetrician said something inappropriate when he was helping to deliver a baby girl. The new mother was bleeding and the obstetrician placed his hand inside the vagina after the patient was put under anesthesia to massage the uterus so that it contracts and bleeding stops.

The obstetrician said, “That's what I like, A nice, tight uterus”. Not only this, the obstetrician raised his right hand into the air and performed obscene dance.
