NHS Lanarkshire doctor faces charges of sexually motivated conduct
A doctor who worked at the NHS Lanarkshire in Scotland is facing charges of sexually motivated conduct in the hospital on nurse.
Dr Satpal Jabbal allegedly jumped on a packet of chips to express his anger after he snatched it from nurse he molested. He then pushed the television during a tea-break argument over a remote control.
He is accused of turning towards nurse "without warning" and touched her breast and then hurl abuse at heart after a "light-hearted" conversation over a television remote. Three nurses have laid accusations about sexually motivated conduct against him.
The second nurse claimed that he squeezed and tickled her sides and touched her bottom while the third nurse said that he grabbed her breast when she was assisting him anaesthetise a patient.
The misconducts have allegedly taken place between October 2001 and November 2007 in the Lanarkshire unit of NHS in Sccotland. Dr Jabbal denies all charged maid against him. He has appeared before a General Medical Council fitness to practice panel in Manchester.
The nurse will present her evidence when the hearing continues tomorrow. The hearing is scheduled to continue for four weeks.
