New Zealand elects to field first against England
New Zealand skipper D Vettori has won the toss and invited England to bat first in the 10th match of ICC Champions Trophy at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on Tuesday.
New Zealand team has made two changes in their team for this crucial encounter. Injured Kiwi opener J Ryder and fast bowler D Tuffey have been left out of the squad. Hopkins has replaced Ryder while I Butler has replaced Tuffey in the Kiwi squad.
England has also made one change in their team as left arm fast bowler R Sidebottom has been included in the team for G Onions for this match.
New Zealand will have to win this match to book their berth in the semifinals. New Zealand would also qualify for the semifinals even if they lose this match but the margin of defeat should be very small. England had already qualified for semifinals after defeating South Africa.
